Heavy Equipment Operator

About the Role

We are a civil construction company operating within the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with a focus on earthwork and utilities. We are looking for a qualified heavy equipment operator to fill a role within our team. Qualified candidates will have operating knowledge of multiple heavy equipment machines including a motor grader, an excavator, and a dozer.

• Take work plan direction from foreman/superintendent and execute in the field.

• Craft team leadership

• Leading project safety culture

• Must be able to read and interpret construction documents and direct proper construction techniques ensuring a safe and quality build.

• Must be capable of operating heavy equipment at a rough grade ability level, as needed. Finish grade preferred.

• Must be able to track and manage field production accounts, daily.

• Inspect work daily.

• Excellent self-starter

• Trustworthy person with strength of character

• Positive attitude and temperament

• Attention to detail.

• 5 years of experience leading earthwork, wet utility, or concrete crews.

• Problem solving skills.

• Bilingual preferred.
